At EditMapStudio, our goal is to eliminate the friction between high-quality geographical data and the people who need it. That is why every single map on our platform—whether it is a PowerPoint template, a Vector SVG file, or an interactive HTML code block—is released under a highly permissive, 100% Free Commercial License.
What You Are Permitted To Do
We want you to use our maps to build incredible things. Under this license, you are explicitly granted the worldwide, non-exclusive, and royalty-free right to:
- Commercial Presentations: Use our PowerPoint maps in client pitch decks, investor meetings, sales reports, and internal corporate strategies.
- Web Development: Embed our HTML or SVG maps directly into your company website, SaaS dashboard, or personal blog without needing to pay a licensing fee based on web traffic.
- Print & Marketing: Print our high-resolution vector maps on physical marketing brochures, academic textbooks, posters, and billboard advertisements.
- Unlimited Edits: You are completely free to change the colors, pull apart states, edit borders, or merge our maps with your own graphics to suit your branding needs.
The "No Hidden Catch" Promise
Unlike other platforms that offer "free" assets but limit you to 5 downloads a day, or force you to add a massive watermark to your work, we do none of that. You do not have to provide attribution or credit EditMapStudio when you use our maps (although we always appreciate a shoutout if you love our work!). Your downloaded files never expire, and there are no recurring subscription fees hidden in the fine print.
What You Are NOT Permitted To Do
Our license is incredibly generous, but we do have one strict rule designed to protect the integrity of our platform. You are absolutely prohibited from reselling or redistributing the raw map files as standalone assets.
- You may not download our PowerPoint (.pptx) or Vector (.svg) files and upload them to a competing stock-graphics or map-download website.
- You may not package our raw files into a "Map Bundle" and sell them on marketplaces like GraphicRiver, Etsy, or CreativeMarket as your own creation.
Conclusion
As long as you are using the maps as a tool within a larger project (like a presentation or a website) rather than selling the map itself, you are fully covered by our free commercial license. We built EditMapStudio to help you succeed, and we hope these maps empower you to tell your geographical stories with absolute confidence.
